Booking a day out with South Devon Wine Tours is easy. Simply fill out the enquiry form on the contact page, telling us where you would like to be picked up from, how many people will be going, and when you'd like to travel. When we've received your enquiry, we'll plan out a day for you, looking at the geography of where you're staying, as well as which vineyards are open on that day of the week and at that time of year. Then we'll give you a ring, and talk through our proposed tour.  Over the course of the day we’ll visit two or three vineyards, and your trip will include lunch at a vineyard cafe and a Devon cream tea.

We'll pick you up from your accommodation, using our shiny new, leather clad, air conditioned van.  Most tours start around 9.00 and you should be dropped off home around 5.00 or 5.30 depending on which vineyards we visit. You'll have the chance to walk around two or three working vineyards and see how grapes being grown, you'll also visit at least one winery, and see how grapes are turned into wine, including how our sparkling wines are made. At each vineyard you'll have the chance to sample and indeed purchase, locally produced wine.

Your tour guide will tell you some of the history of wine making in Devon, but you'll also get the chance to meet and talk to at least a couple of the vineyard owners. To keep the experience as personal as possible we tend to run smaller group sizes, and will happily run a tour for just a couple of people, however we have planned a trip for a group of 33, so please give us a ring even if you have a large group.

Prices for a local pickup start at just £120 per person, including lunch and we give discounts to groups picking up from the same address

To make a booking, or if there is anything else you’d like to talk about, give us a ring on 07447 055912 or email us, and we’ll be delighted to sort out your ideal day trip.
